Job summary

Stars Behavioral Health Group seeks a Quality Assurance Manager in Indio, CA to lead the QA programs across outpatient services. You will educate staff, track report completions, and ensure conformity with Medi-Cal, county standards, and internal policies.

The role partners with Clinical and Administrative teams, overseeing CQI and coordinating with EMR, Research, and Finance. It offers growth through paid CEUs and supervision hours for qualified professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a social science field or related area.
• 4+ years of experience in a Mental Health Agency or County Behavioral Health Program.
• 2 years of Quality Assurance or Medical Records experience required.
• 1 year in a management/supervisory role preferred.
• 1 year of mental health experience preferred.
• Valid California Driver’s License with clean driving record; CPR and First Aid certifications current or to be obtained within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure QA programs across outpatient services.
• Educate about, track, and monitor report completions; coordinate CQI processes.
• Ensure conformity with Medi‑Cal, County standards, and internal policies.
• Coordinate with departments such as Research, EMR, and Finance to support QA initiatives.
