Qualifications

• A degree in a health-related field and/or two years' experience in health care education.
• A minimum of one year of experience in medical records and/or quality improvement is preferred.
• Experience working with health care agencies and/or regulatory agencies.
• Knowledge of Title 9, 22, OSHA, HCAI, HIPAA, and CARF.
• Ability to engage in performance improvement data collection, analysis, and implementation of QA plans.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and audit the identified standards of person-served care and the quality of the electronic health record.
• Ensure quality improvement standards are up to date and in compliance with the facility's level of care.
• Collaborate with the QA committee and program at the facility level.
• Monitor compliance with licensing and accrediting policies and regulations.
