Job summary

The Florida Department of Health is seeking a lead QA Analyst in the State Operations Unit of the Bureau of WIC Program Services. You will coordinate testing, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement of FL-WiSE, EBT, reporting, and related processes.

You will lead UAT testing with state and local WIC users, develop test strategies and data, track defects, and validate corrective actions to support program efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of QA and QA improvement principles and testing life cycles.
• Experience with user acceptance, regression, functional, and data-validation testing.
• Ability to analyze processes and recommend improvements.
• Familiarity with public health programs and WIC policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA activities, set priorities, assign testing work, monitor progress and ensure issues are resolved before implementation.
• Lead UAT testing with state and local WIC users for system enhancements, defects, reports, and releases.
• Serve as first point of contact for operational and system troubleshooting and coordinate responses and escalations.
• Write, review, and execute scripts and queries to validate data and support testing and reporting.
• Develop, update, and maintain manuals, SOPs, and training materials.
• Lead training sessions for state and local WIC users and coordinate knowledge transfer.
