Job summary

Florida Department of Health’s Florida WIC Program seeks an Operations Review Specialist to act as the lead QA analyst for the State Operations Unit, coordinating review, testing, and continuous improvement of FL-WiSE and related processes. The role oversees QA activities, UAT, troubleshooting support, and the creation of test strategies and training materials for state and local WIC users.

Reporting to the Department of Health, this fully funded position requires strong knowledge of QA, testing

Qualifications

• Knowledge of QA, software testing life cycles, and UAT methodologies.
• Ability to write and execute scripts, develop test plans and test cases, and analyze data and outputs.
• Experience with requirements analysis, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to lead and coordinate QA, testing, and training activities across diverse user groups.
• Knowledge of WIC regulations, policies, and business processes.
• Experience in writing and maintaining technical documentation, procedures, and training materials.

Job description

The Operations Review Specialist serves as the lead quality assurance analyst for the Florida WIC Program's State Operations Unit, responsible for coordinating review, testing, and continuous improvement of FL-WiSE, electronic benefits transfer systems, and related business processes. The role manages QA activities, leads user acceptance testing, provides operational troubleshooting support, develops test strategies and documentation, and trains state and local WIC users on system changes and procedures. The position is fully funded by the federal WIC grant and reports to the Department of Health.

Key qualifications:

• Knowledge of quality assurance, software testing life cycles, and user acceptance testing methodologies
• Skill in writing and executing scripts, developing test plans and test cases, and analyzing data and system outputs
