Job summary

The role requires reading engineering drawings, maintaining calibration records, and communicating test outcomes to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of QA inspection experience preferred.
• Current Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or ability to obtain certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, inspection plans, and specifications.
• Document inspection results in reports and quality records.
• Maintain calibration records and equipment as required.
• Communicate findings and nonconformances to production and quality teams.
• Escalate significant quality issues to appropriate personnel.
