Cust-O-Fab is seeking an experienced QA/QC Inspector to support quality assurance and control throughout the manufacturing process. The role involves inspections, verification against customer specifications and codes, and collaboration with Engineering, Production, Welding, NDE, and PM teams to ensure products meet requirements.

The ideal candidate has prior QA/QC/inspection experience, familiarity with ASME VIII and NDE methods, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous QA/QC, inspection, or industrial fabrication experience is required.
• Experience with heat exchangers, pressure vessels, or similar industrial equipment preferred.
• CWI certification preferred.
• NDE qualifications: LPT, Magnetic particle, Radiographic interpretation preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.

Responsabilités

• Promote a safety-first culture through open communication and adherence to safety requirements.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to verify drawings, specs, and codes.
• Conduct dimensional layout inspections with precision measuring equipment.
• Review blueprints, drawings, weld procedures, and project docs for manufacturing requirements.
• Verify fabrication and assembly activities meet drawings and procedures.
• Inspect welds and components for compliance and identify quality concerns.
• Perform NDE processes and create reports; coordinate NDE activities.
