Job summary

Winholt Equipment Corp in Allentown, PA is seeking a QA Inspector to ensure metal fabrication and welding meet drawings and specs. You will perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of formed and assembled equipment, by reading blueprints and using precision tools to verify dimensions and weld quality.

You will work closely with production and engineering to identify defects, document results, and support CAPA and audits.

Qualifications

2+ years of quality inspection experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Knowledge of fabrication processes including cutting, forming, welding, finishing, and assembly.

Responsibilities

Perform first article, in-process, final inspections of metal fabricated components and equipment.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, weld symbols, and BOMs.
Verify product dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments (tape measures, calipers).
Inspect welded assemblies for workmanship and weld quality against procedures and criteria.
Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
Identify, segregate, and control nonconforming materials and products.
