Ooma is hiring a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our SQA team. You will define test strategies, develop plans, build lab environments, track defects, and deliver quality insights to stakeholders. This role involves modern test automation tools, including AI-assisted testing techniques.

You will design and execute tests for VoIP, networking, and applications across Linux, iOS, and Android platforms, ensuring robust quality and reliability in a cloud-based communications platform.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in QA engineering, with VoIP/networking focus.
• Experience designing and executing automated tests.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools.
• Linux environment experience; basic admin skills.
• Experience testing iOS/Android apps is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and cases validating product functionality and performance.
• Define test strategies and provide clear status, risk assessments, and schedules.
• Build and maintain lab environments for diverse configurations.
• Collaborate with engineering, automation, and performance teams to improve coverage.
• Leverage automation and AI-assisted testing to boost quality and productivity.
• Identify, document, track, and drive defect resolution across the lifecycle.
• Prepare test reports and communicate quality results to stakeholders.
