Job summary

Ōura is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to lead end-to-end testing of our mobile apps, cloud services, and data/algorithmic workstreams. You will own test automation, collaborate with developers, and drive continuous improvements in testing capabilities across US and Finland teams.

The role emphasizes building robust test strategies, automating frameworks with Pytest, Appium, and Playwright, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines while ensuring data and sensor-driven features deliver

Qualifications

• 8+ years of QA and test automation experience.
• End-to-end testing of multi-component systems (embedded, mobile, cloud).
• Experience testing health/wearables or data-driven apps is a plus.
• Experience with embedded firmware/Bluetooth devices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies and plans for mobile apps, backend services, and data solutions.
• Execute manual and automated tests, log defects clearly.
• Validate data flow and algorithm accuracy across ring, app, and backend.
• Contribute to CI/CD integrations and regression suites.
