Job summary

Ōura seeks a Senior Software Test Engineer to lead end-to-end testing across iOS, Android, and cloud services. You will design test strategies, automate tests with Pytest and Appium, and drive CI/CD integration to ensure high-quality product releases.

The role emphasizes embedded device testing, wireless connectivity, and data-driven insights while collaborating with cross-functional teams in the US and Finland.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of proven experience designing, building, and executing automated tests for complex apps.
• Experience testing end-to-end multi-component systems (embedded software + mobile + cloud).
• Domain experience in health, wellness, wearable, or data-driven apps; familiarity with time-series or sensor data is a plus.
• Experience testing embedded firmware and Bluetooth-enabled devices and validating wireless connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies and plans for end-to-end features across mobile apps, backend services, and data solutions.
• Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and report defects clearly.
• Scale test automation frameworks for mobile and API testing; integrate CI/CD for fast feedback.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure quality and timely resolutions.
• Own quality initiatives and promote best practices in QA across teams.
• Explore and implement AI-driven testing approaches and performance testing.
