Upbound Group in Draper, Utah, is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer II for an in-office role. You will monitor processes, test software and systems, and identify defects to ensure the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with developers, engineers, and operations to verify fixes, develop testing plans, track issues, and report performance. A bachelor’s degree and 2–5+ years in QA or related roles are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2-5+ years QA/testing/technical role.
• Strong problem-solving with data tools, root-cause analysis, and SPC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous habits to spot discrepancies impacting safety.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect production workflows, test software code, or inspect physical goods to catch errors early.
• Develop standards: create quality control protocols, testing plans, and safety guidelines.
• Track and report: document bugs, non-conformances, and test results; prepare routine performance reports.
• Root cause analysis: investigate defects or system failures to find the core problem and prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate: work with developers, engineers, and operations teams to verify fixes and improve product design.
• Compliance: ensure all processes align with industry regulations and standards.
