Job summary

S&P Global Ratings is seeking a QA Engineer to join our Ratings Technology team in a hybrid NYC/Princeton setting. You will design, build, and execute automated tests across Web, API, and data layers, partnering with Product Management and Engineering to deliver high-quality software.

With 2+ years of testing experience, you’ll implement test plans, mentor staff, and help reduce time-to-market while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software testing or development experience.
• Experience in Python or Java and automated testing.
• Automation across UI/Service/Data layers using Selenium or Appium.
• SOAP/REST services testing and SOA understanding.
• SQL queries and data quality testing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or IS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create tools and frameworks with quality code to simplify testing.
• Design test plans and execute test cases; analyze and report results.
• Collaborate with development to deliver functionality on time and with quality.
• Act as test lead; assign tasks and guide testing staff.
• Focus on Web, API, and Database testing; ensure best practices.
• Participate in Agile project activities and risk analysis.
