Job summary

Major Investment Firm is seeking a Quality Engineer (Automation Testing) to design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions across UI, API, and backend layers. You will build scalable automation frameworks and collaborate with Agile teams to improve software quality throughout the SDLC.

You will also contribute to CI/CD pipelines, perform functional and non-functional testing, and help ensure reliable releases of cloud-based applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years of Quality Engineering / Software Testing experience.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated test scripts with Selenium/Cucumber/Playwright.
• Strong REST API testing experience and SQL data validation.
• Experience in CI/CD environments and Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, Java, and Playwright
• Build and maintain reusable automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing
• Perform smoke, functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
• Develop quality management plans and sprint/release test strategies
• Partner with Product Owners and Developers to ensure business requirements are fully testable
• Create and maintain test cases, traceability matrices, defects, and QA documentation
• Lead defect triage sessions and collaborate with development teams through issue resolution
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Participate in non-functional testing efforts including performance, security, and accessibility
• Continuously improve QA processes, automation coverage, and testing best practices
• Collaborate across multiple Agile Scrum teams to ensure successful product delivery

Required Qualifications
