Job summary

Artech L.L.C. is seeking a QA Engineer in Culver City, CA. The role is hybrid with onsite Tue–Thu and remote Mon & Fri. You will join the Content Tools team and test tools, software, and services to ensure high-quality customer experiences.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of QA experience, moving from manual testing to automation, with hands-on Selenium, Playwright, Python or Java. Strong API testing and CI collaboration are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• 1–3 years of professional QA experience testing web applications.
• Progression from manual testing to active test automation.
• Hands-on automation scripting with Selenium, Playwright, Python and/or Java.
• Ability to test and validate REST/JSON APIs.
• Experience with Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of HTTP methods, status codes, and request/response validation.
• Strong bug reporting with logs and replication steps.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web apps.
• Build and extend automated UI test suites using Playwright and/or Selenium.
• Perform API testing (REST/JSON) using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Investigate, reproduce, and document defects with steps, logs, and screenshots.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams on requirements and release readiness.
• Engage in regression, smoke, and exploratory testing; contribute to CI integration.
