Job summary

Tech Mirrors is seeking a Software QA Engineer in Culver City, CA for a contract role. You will design and execute test plans, build automated UI tests with Playwright/Selenium, and perform REST/JSON API testing.

Collaboration with developers and product teams is essential to ensure release readiness. The candidate should have 3–5 years of QA experience testing web applications, familiarity with Digital Supply Chain or Content Management systems, and knowledge of CI processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional QA experience testing web applications.
• Experience working within Digital Supply Chain or Content Management systems.
• Familiarity with AI tooling in QA workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web applications.
• Build and extend automated UI test suites using Playwright and/or Selenium.
• Perform API testing (REST/JSON) using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Investigate, reproduce, and clearly document defects with steps, logs, and screenshots.
• Collaborate with developers and product on requirements review, test planning, and release readiness.
• Participate in regression, smoke, and exploratory testing cycles.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test strategy, tooling, and CI integration.
