Job summary

Artech, LLC is seeking a QA Engineer for a 12-month, hybrid role in Culver City, CA (Tue–Thu onsite; Mon & Fri remote). Pay range $40–$45/hr W2, DOE. You will design and execute tests, build automation, and ensure release quality for media content tools.

The role focuses on web apps, APIs, and tooling, with collaboration across engineering and product teams. A degree in a related field and automated testing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 1–3 years of QA experience testing web apps.
• Progressed from manual testing into test automation.
• Hands-on automation with Selenium, Playwright, Python and/or Java.
• Ability to build and maintain automated UI test suites and validate REST/JSON APIs.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to write clear bug reports.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web applications.
• Build automated UI test suites using Playwright and/or Selenium.
• Perform API testing (REST/JSON) using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalents.
• Investigate, reproduce, and document defects with reproduction steps, logs, and screenshots.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams on requirements, test planning, and release readiness.
