Job summary

Kardow in Culver City, CA is seeking a Software QA Engineer on a contract basis to help verify web applications through manual testing and automation. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional QA experience testing web applications.
• Experience designing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated Test Cases for web apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web applications.
• Build and extend automated UI test suites using Playwright and/or Selenium.
• Perform API testing (REST/JSON) using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Collaborate with developers and product on requirements, test planning, and release readiness.
• Participate in regression, smoke, and exploratory testing cycles.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test strategy, tooling, and CI integration.
