Job summary

CEGsoft is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to validate, test, and improve the quality of our SaaS software applications. You will help deliver reliable, secure, and high-quality solutions by leveraging testing, automation, and debugging skills.

Responsibilities include end-to-end validation, automated test development, API and database testing, and collaboration with Product and Engineering teams to enhance release quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent practical knowledge may be considered.
• 3–5 years of software testing, quality engineering, or related experience.
• Experience testing web-based or SaaS applications across functional, regression, exploratory, and release testing.
• Experience developing, executing, and maintaining automated tests using programming or scripting skills.
• Experience with APIs, SQL, Git, defect-tracking tools, Agile practices, and CI/CD environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute end-to-end quality validation for SaaS features and modules.
• Design and perform functional, exploratory, smoke, regression, and release testing.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for stable, repeatable scenarios.
• Test APIs, databases, services, and integrations to validate business rules and data integrity.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve requirements, acceptance criteria, and observability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, defect triage, release discussions, and retrospectives; report quality risks.
• Mentor and support junior QA team members and promote strong quality practices.
