Job summary

Adeptus Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to plan, execute, document, and report software testing throughout the Agile lifecycle.

You will validate functionality against requirements, maintain automated test suites, and ensure accessibility and regulatory compliance across applications. The role emphasizes collaboration with Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers, with a focus on defect management, test traceability, and delivering high-quality software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on software QA/testing in Agile/Scrum.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or comparable Agile work management platform.
• Experience developing and executing manual test cases against defined requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility requirements and testing practices.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, Playwright or equivalent).
• Ability to interpret requirements and acceptance criteria; strong documentation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; collaboration with Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, document, and report software testing across the Agile lifecycle.
• Develop, maintain, and run automated end-to-end tests (Cypress or equivalents).
• Perform accessibility testing per 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA.
• Manage defects and track via Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Conduct end-to-end and integration testing across components and workflows.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide QA metrics and status.
