Job summary

Healthie is seeking a QA Engineer to join a strong, collaborative QA team. You will test across a large, complex EHR platform, working closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to ensure what we ship meets customer needs.

We value hands-on testing and curiosity to dig into how a product works. You will leverage AI tools to move faster while maintaining critical judgment, and own the product areas you test in a growth-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA experience testing web applications and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or a similar automation framework (Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO).
• Strong testing instincts: edge cases, spotting issues, and thorough investigation.
• Fast learner who adapts quickly to unfamiliar features and domains.
• Solid API testing skills and understanding of frontend/backend interactions.
• Experience using AI tools day-to-day, with critical review of outputs.

Responsibilities

• Write and execute manual and automated test plans for web applications and APIs across the Healthie platform.
• Contribute to our Playwright automation suite, deciding what to automate vs. manual testing.
• Perform API testing using Postman to validate backend services and data flows.
• Test with the customer in mind, focusing on clinicians and patients.
• Learn new product areas quickly and understand likely failure points.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams throughout the lifecycle to catch issues early.
• Document defects with clear, reproducible steps.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate test case generation, edge-case discovery, automation, and documentation, while reviewing outputs.
