Job summary

Healthie is an AI-Native, ONC Certified EHR platform serving outpatient healthcare providers. We seek a QA Engineer to test a large, complex EHR with API and web app focus, collaborating with engineers, PMs, and designers.

You will own test areas, contribute to automation, and leverage AI tools to improve velocity and quality. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in QA, strong API and web testing, and experience with Playwright or similar frameworks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance for web apps and APIs.
• Proficient in manual testing and know when to automate.
• Hands-on with Playwright or similar (Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO).
• Strong testing instincts and excellent communication.
• Fast learner with ability to understand new features quickly.

Responsibilities

• Write and execute manual and automated test plans for web apps and APIs.
• Contribute to Playwright automation suite and decide what to automate.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman to validate data flows.
• Test with clinicians and patients in mind and document defects clearly.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Use AI tools to accelerate test generation and documentation, with critical review.
