Nissan in Decherd, TN is seeking a QA Dyno/Assembly Engineer Intern to join our team for a 12-week program. This hands-on role exposes you to dynamometer work, engine testing, and powertrain development alongside experienced engineers.

Your background in mechanical, automotive, electrical, or related fields, plus junior/senior year status and a GPA of 3.0+, will help you contribute to testing, validation, and quality assurance activities onsite.

Qualificações

• Must be enrolled in an undergrad or grad degree in mechanical, automotive, electrical or related field.
• Junior or Senior year at the start of the upcoming term.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, automotive systems, and electric motor tech.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in engine testing, QA, manufacturing and powertrain development.
• Ability to work onsite in Decherd, TN.
• Strong written and verbal communication; cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Support installation and commissioning of a new dynamometer test cell for the 5-in-1 motor project.
• Assist testing and validation activities for current and future powertrain programs.
• Help develop and execute quality assurance plans for assembly and testing operations.
• Participate in equipment capability studies, runoffs, and validation efforts.
• Analyze test results and support troubleshooting to improve quality and process performance.
• Collaborate with quality, engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance teams to support project success.
