Job summary

Nissan is seeking a Facilities Engineering Intern for a 12-week summer program in Decherd, TN. You will collaborate with experienced facilities engineers in a powertrain manufacturing environment, gaining hands-on experience with building systems, maintenance practices, and safety initiatives.

You will help implement projects, support KPI tracking in CMMS, and participate in planning and continuous improvement efforts to improve quality, cost, and delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Junior or Senior year at the start of the term.
• GPA of 3.0 or above; transcripts may be requested.
• Onsite work in Decherd, TN; able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance procedures for facility and building systems.
• Assist with capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Set up and maintain spare parts within CMMS.
• Track KPIs related to facility operations and business objectives.
• Participate in expense planning and capital planning activities.
