Job summary

Nissan’s Decherd, TN site is seeking a Process Engineering Intern to work with seasoned engineers on automated engine production lines. This 12-week program offers hands-on experience and exposure to projects that advance operational excellence.

You will learn to identify process improvements, manage projects, and collaborate across teams while building core engineering skills in manufacturing. Onsite mentorship is provided for growth.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Junior or Senior standing at the start of the upcoming academic term.
• GPA 3.0 or above; transcripts may be required during the application process.
• Must be able to work onsite in Decherd, TN.

Responsibilities

• Learn and support highly automated engine manufacturing processes.
• Partner with engineers to identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Develop project management skills through involvement in initiatives.
• Lead a department project from planning through execution and present findings.
