Community Options, Inc. is actively seeking an IDD Quality Assurance Coordinator in Queens, NY. The role ensures QA audits, compliance with state regulations, and liaison between local and national offices to enforce policies and procedures.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of relevant QA experience, plus a valid driver's license. Starting pay is $26.00 per hour, with full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and three years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Commitment to and knowledge of community-based support for persons with disabilities.
• Working knowledge of management of an effective QA program, including training, monitoring, documenting investigations, addressing violations, and monitoring corrective actions.
• Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.
• Knowledge and understanding of local regulatory agency operations.
• Employment is contingent upon checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing.

Responsabilités

• Schedule and conduct QA audits of financial, personnel files, training records, medication administration records, medical records, Therap, and billing documentation.
• Conduct comprehensive record reviews.
• Conduct physical site inspections of homes and programs.
• Conduct 30-day initial audit of all new homes and programs.
• Audit individuals’ in-house accounts to verify documentation, monitoring, and balances.
• Communicate findings to Regional/State Director, Executive Director, and National Compliance and QA Director.
• Recommend changes in current policy and procedures.
• Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned.
• Cooperate with license and department staff in inspections, inquiries, or investigations.
