Job summary

Actian is seeking a QA Automation Lead to architect and own our automated testing strategy end-to-end. You will lead a team of automation engineers, embed quality gates in our CI/CD pipelines, and drive data-driven metrics to eliminate regressions before production.

You will design robust testing frameworks for complex SaaS and distributed data architectures, push for built-in quality, and collaborate across Product, Core Engineering, and DevOps to map out automation early.

Qualifications

• Senior SDET or QA Automation Lead with proven experience testing complex enterprise SaaS and distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in coding languages (Java, Python, or Go) and testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium) with strong API testing and SQL skills.
• Ability to own testing strategy, drive QA metrics, and lead cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, scale, and maintain robust automation frameworks for SaaS and distributed data architectures.
• Embed automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins) for rapid feedback.
• Drive advanced testing topologies: API, performance, resilience, and data-integrity automation.
