Job summary

Intone Inc. is seeking a QA Lead for a 12+ month contract, remote role. You will steer QA efforts, mentor engineers, and drive test automation strategy across multiple tools and frameworks.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in QA with strong automation, hands-on experience in Playwright and Tosca, and a track record of implementing automation frameworks across SaaS or distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Quality Assurance experience with a strong emphasis on test automation.
• Expert-level hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Strong hands-on experience with Tosca.
• Experience working across multiple automation tools and frameworks.
• Strong background in both manual and automated software testing.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to QA engineers
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks
• Guide engineers in selecting and applying appropriate automation tools and frameworks for different testing scenarios
• Perform API testing and database validation using SQL
• Create functional test cases from business requirements and user stories
• Incorporate AI-assisted development or testing tools into QA workflows to improve productivity
• Critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and apply sound engineering judgment
• Execute both manual and automated software testing
