Job summary

Intone Networks Inc. in Los Angeles, CA seeks a QA Automation Architect for a 6-month contract. The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days on-site weekly, and focuses on designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks across distributed teams to enable high-quality releases.

You will lead Playwright-based automation using TypeScript, drive AI-assisted QA initiatives, and mentor offshore and onshore QA groups to ensure robust, reusable automation components and best practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of QA and test automation experience required.
• Experience as QA Automation Architect or Staff QA Engineer.
• Playwright and TypeScript mandatory.
• UI automation and API testing expertise.
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong CI/CD integration and DevOps understanding.
• AI/ML in QA experience like test generation or intelligent automation.
• Excellent debugging and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks from scratch.
• Lead UI, API, and end-to-end test automation strategies.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Define and implement test strategies, quality gates, and reporting metrics.
• Drive AI-based QA initiatives, including test generation and self-healing tests.
• Identify and resolve test flakiness and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor offshore and onshore QA teams.
• Establish best practices, coding standards, and reusable components.
