Job summary

Dunhill Professional Search & Government Solutions is seeking a Software Quality Assurance professional to design risk-based test strategies, create test data, and ensure traceability to requirements. The role emphasizes API testing and test automation across multiple environments.

You will validate service behavior, authentication/authorization handling, and data integrity while integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in software QA, testing, or related IT disciplines.
• Experience creating test plans, test cases, scripts, regression suites, and defect reports across the SDLC.
• Experience performing functional, integration, regression, and API testing for web-based apps/services.
• Ability to document, track, and retest defects with clear evidence and stakeholder communication.
• US Citizenship and the ability to pass a federal background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Design risk-based test approaches, test cases, test data, and traceability artifacts aligned to requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and dependencies.
• Perform API testing to validate service behavior, structures, auth handling, error conditions, data integrity, and workflows.
• Execute smoke, regression, functional, exploratory, and security-focused testing across environments.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines; analyze results, logs, and reports to isolate failures and support remediation.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and retest defects with clear reproduction steps and business impact.
• Support test-environment readiness by validating configurations, test-account access, and data setup or masking.
• Participate in peer reviews, defect triage, requirements refinement, and release-readiness activities to improve quality.
