Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional software QA experience, focused on web applications, integration testing, or automated pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to trace bugs across APIs, databases, and front-end interfaces.
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Bruno or Postman) and automated or AI-assisted testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Early Defect Detection: collaborate with development early to isolate bugs and clarify requirements.
• API Validation & Interoperability: test APIs to validate backend logic and data integrity across services.
• Data Integration & Verification: run database queries to inspect pipelines and verify data flows.
• Automated Framework Development: build and maintain automated regression tests to shorten release cycles.
• AI Tool Utilization: leverage AI-assisted tools to draft tests and optimize CI/CD coverage.
• Onsite Collaboration & Operations: participate in sprint planning and reviews at the Buffalo, NY office.
