Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Quality Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated tests for APIs, web, mobile, and performance scenarios. You will build reusable utilities and integrate AI-assisted tooling to improve QA efficiency and reliability.

You will mentor junior analysts, collaborate with engineering, product, and operations, and contribute to CI/CD processes and QA best practices across cloud-based testing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of relevant QA experience.
• Experience with cloud-based testing and AI-assisted QA.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites across API, web, mobile, and performance testing domains.
• Builds reusable test utilities, fixtures, and frameworks to improve reliability and reduce flakiness.
• Develops mobile test automation including simulator/emulator execution and CI/CD integration.
• Applies AI-assisted tooling to support testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Supports scalable cloud-based load testing using Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes.
