Job summary

Verisk Analytics, Inc. is seeking an QA Engineer responsible for both manual and automated testing of applications supporting business objectives. The role emphasizes independence in project analysis, test case development for websites, APIs, and infrastructure, and collaboration with analysts and product owners.

You will test AI-driven solutions, automate regression suites, and ensure performance in an Agile setting, while guiding junior testers and providing actionable feedback to developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of proven software testing and automation experience.
• Experience with UI automation tools (Selenium WebDriver) and programming languages (Python, Java, C#).
• Experience testing and automating RESTful APIs (Python/Java).
• Experience with API/performance testing (e.g., JMeter).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD and SDLC practices; familiarity with Jira/Confluence.
• Ability to design test plans, scripts and strategies; good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis to develop test cases and scripts for websites, APIs and infrastructure.
• Perform hands-on manual testing and develop automated tests to ensure quality.
• Test AI-driven solutions and ensure performance in Agile environments.
• Provide feedback on readiness for migrations and guide junior testers.
