Job summary

The Quality Assurance Analyst I at ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, supports delivery of reliable full-stack software by planning, executing, and improving QA activities across web applications, APIs, integrations, and release environments.

The role develops and maintains automated functional, regression, and end-to-end test coverage using Playwright and Selenium, with emphasis on repeatable testing across supported browsers and environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/SE or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of software quality assurance and related IT disciplines.
• Hands-on experience developing and executing automated browser-based tests using Playwright and Selenium.
• Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, regression suites, and defect reports.
• Experience performing functional, integration, regression, and API testing for web-based applications and services.
• Ability to document, track, and retest defects with clear evidence and stakeholder communication.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust background investigation.
• On-site work in Bethesda, MD two days per week.

Responsibilities

• Design risk-based test approaches, test cases, data, and traceability aligned to requirements.
• Build, maintain, and execute automated UI, functional, regression, and end-to-end tests with Playwright/Selenium.
• Perform API testing to validate service behavior, structures, auth, errors, and data integrity.
• Execute smoke, regression, functional, exploratory, and security-focused testing across environments.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD; analyze results, logs, and reports to isolate failures.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and retest defects with clear reproduction steps and impact.
• Support test-environment readiness, data setup/masking, and issue escalation.
• Participate in peer reviews, defect triage, requirements refinement, and release-readiness activities.
