Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the QA team at an Insurance company. You will design, build, and maintain automated test suites across different applications, working closely with Developers, Functional Analysts, Product Owners and Project Managers to ensure reliable, high-quality releases.

3-6 years of software testing experience is expected, with hands-on automation using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress, plus strong SQL/API validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
• Hands on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Strong expertise in SQL, API testing, and backend/system validation.
• Experience in P&C Insurance Domain.
• Experience with Guidewire Insurance Suite.
• Experience using AI tools and technology to assist with automated and manual testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for full-stack features across applications.
• Design and execute test plans and strategies to support rapid delivery while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with Developers, Analysts, Product Owners and Project Managers to ensure quality objectives.
• Perform manual and automated testing, backend validation, web services, and API testing.
• Review automation test coverage and increase coverage as releases evolve.
