Job summary

Harris Computer in the United States seeks a Quality Assurance Analyst to design and execute comprehensive test plans for new features and bug fixes, validating results with cross-functional teams. You will document defects, contribute to release notes, and demonstrate changes to customers and peers.

Reporting to the Mobile Team Lead, you will use AI-assisted tools to enhance testing efficiency and help improve QA processes, standards, and release readiness across diverse platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience testing software applications, creating and executing test cases, validating results, and documenting defects clearly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including defect reports and release notes.
• Ability to work effectively with developers, product owners, support staff, and other stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of PC/LAN environments, primarily Windows Server and Windows OS.
• Experience with Jira and test management tools; knowledge of API testing or test automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features, bug fixes, integrations, customer scenarios, and release validation.
• Document, investigate, reproduce, track, and validate software defects, enhancement requests, and customer-reported issues with stakeholders.
• Communicate release changes through clear release notes and demonstrations of new features for customers and internal teams.
• Use approved AI-assisted tools to support test planning, defect analysis, documentation, and release note drafting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing standards, and release readiness practices.
