Job summary

BizFirst is assisting our client by recruiting a Software Engineer to develop and integrate Python-based microservices for SIGINT mission systems at Fort Meade, MD. This onsite role requires active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph and readiness to start immediately.

You will containerize services with Docker, deploy on Kubernetes using Helm, and connect new components to existing SIGINT interfaces in a SOA.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and seven (7) years of software engineering experience. Eleven (11)years of software engineering experience may substitute for the degree.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Docker, Kubernetes,and Helm (all four are required).
• Familiarity with working in a software buildenvironment.
• Working knowledge of microservices deployment patterns.
• Experience developing service-oriented architecturesand microservice solutions.
• Experience integrating SIGINT system interfaces.
• Proficiency with the Linux/Unix command line andshell/Bash scripting.
• Ability to work onsite at Fort Meade, MD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate microservice solutions in Python for SIGINTmission systems.
• Containerize services with Docker and deploy them toKubernetes using Helm charts.
• Integrate new services with existing SIGINT systeminterfaces.
• Design and build components that fit a service-orientedarchitecture (SOA).
• Work within the program's build environment to compile,package, and release software.
• Automate routine development and deployment tasks withshell and Bash scripts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in containerizedservices running on Linux.
