Absolute Business Solutions Corp (ABSC) is seeking a TS/SCI-cleared Software Engineer to support a long-term DIA-NDOC DOMEX Technology Platform contract in Bethesda, MD. You will work with systems and software engineers, building scalable Python microservices deployed in Kubernetes, with Kafka and Elasticsearch integration.

Remote work may be possible occasionally; on-site presence in Bethesda is common, with flexible scheduling to meet client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 4–8 years of relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph willingness.
• Proficiency in Python and backend frameworks (FastAPI/Flask).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Elasticsearch.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test Python microservices.
• Implement message producers and consumers with Kafka.
• Integrate Elasticsearch for indexing and search.
• Write unit/integration tests with high coverage.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and deploy to Kubernetes.
• Collaborate across teams on design and architecture.
• Ensure observability, security, and reliability.
