Job summary

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience in sales or inside sales preferred.
• Experience with order processing and quotes.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic CRM.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests for quotes by sourcing products from inventory or external suppliers.
• Build quotes that create value for the customer and profitability for the company.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities to contribute to overall sales growth.
• Proactively engage with customers and use product knowledge to recommend add-on solutions.
• Utilize company systems to create quotes, locate products, process orders, and generate POs.
• Adhere to pricing, freight, delivery schedules, and KPIs.
• Verify on-time shipping/delivery status of shipments.
• Communicate status proactively with the customer and adjust sourcing as needed.
• Respond to customer needs with options using a problem-solving approach.
• Ensure quoted products are allowed per AML or customer specs.
• Refer to guides to maintain familiarity with customer preferences/processes.
• Coordinate with management, other departments, and suppliers to optimize customer experience.
• Handle next-level needs including RMAs and special invoicing needs.
• Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and coworkers to execute all order steps.
