Job summary

Eosol Group is seeking a confident Commissioning & SET Supervisor to lead on-site commissioning and startup for photovoltaic substations. The role emphasizes safety, technical leadership, and coordination with multiple teams to ensure timely energization and handover of cutting-edge solar facilities.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in substation commissioning within renewables, a valid US work visa, and advanced English skills for collaborating with international teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of direct experience in commissioning and start-up (SET) of electrical infrastructure, with a strong focus on substation projects.
• Proven experience in renewable energy projects, specifically photovoltaic.
• Demonstrated expertise in substation commissioning, including testing of HV equipment, protection relays, control systems, and SCADA.
• Possession of a valid US work visa is mandatory.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher) for effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site commissioning and SET activities for photovoltaic plant substations, ensuring safe and efficient execution.
• Develop, review, and approve detailed commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, construction crews, vendors, and clients for timely execution.
• Provide technical oversight on electrical systems, protection relays, control systems, and SCADA integration.
• Champion safety through inspections, toolbox talks, and adherence to local regulations and client requirements.
• Monitor quality to ensure adherence to design specifications and standards.
• Identify and resolve technical issues to minimize delays during commissioning.
• Maintain comprehensive records and generate progress and handover reports for stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor the commissioning team; manage vendor relationships for timely delivery and commissioning.
