Job summary

Eosol Group is seeking a Commissioning & SET Supervisor to lead on-site commissioning and startup activities for photovoltaic substations. You will oversee safety, quality, and coordination with project teams to ensure reliable energization and handover of plants.

The role requires strong leadership, deep substation knowledge, and hands-on management of testing, protection relays, SCADA integration, and project timelines. English fluency and a US work visa are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in commissioning and start-up (SET) of electrical infrastructure, with a focus on substations.
• Proven experience in renewable energy projects, specifically photovoltaic sector.
• Valid US work visa is mandatory.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher) for international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site commissioning and SET activities for PV plant substations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Develop, review, and approve detailed commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering, construction, vendors, and clients for timely execution.
• Provide technical guidance on electrical systems, protection relays, and SCADA integration.
• Champion safety culture and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Monitor quality of work and ensure adherence to specs and standards.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve commissioning issues to minimize delays.
• Maintain records of tests, reports, and handover documentation for management.
