Job summary

Per Sé Group is seeking a PV & BESS Commissioning Manager to ensure projects are actually ready to energize. You will connect construction, EPCs, OEMs, commissioning providers and site teams to uncover gaps before startup.

Expect to lead commissioning across utility-scale PV, standalone BESS and hybrid PV+BESS projects in Texas, with travel as needed. The role offers a contract paying $75–$85 per hour, with a typical 7-4, 40 hours/week schedule and a preference for Houston or nearby locations,

Qualifications

• Experience commissioning utility-scale PV and BESS projects.
• Ability to coordinate between EPCs, OEMs, commissioning providers and site teams.
• Strong understanding of plant controls and communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning activities across PV, BESS, and PV+BESS projects in Texas.
• Drive commissioning readiness from completion through energization, startup, testing and turnover.
• Review plans, procedures, drawings and test packages; challenge anything unclear.
• Coordinate EPCs, OEMs, commissioning providers, utilities and other technical teams when schedules tighten.
• Oversee integration of SCADA, PPC/EMS, inverters, BESS controls, metering and plant systems.
• Support FAT, SAT, functional/integration testing and commercial-operation readiness.
• Track schedule and resolve startup blockers by coordinating with the right people.
