Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to oversee testing and commissioning of HV, BESS, and PV projects nationwide. You will lead the commissioning team, coordinate with engineering, construction, and QA, and ensure safe, compliant handover from commissioning to project closeout.

This hybrid role requires onsite work at job sites with some remote elements; travel is expected. Candidates should have 3+ years of commissioning experience on utility-scale electrical systems and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of testing and commissioning on utility-scale electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers.
• Experience leading project teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project commissioning team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient execution.
• Report daily on the status of each project assigned to the Commissioning Manager.
• Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and milestone deliverables in line with contract requirements.
• Coordinate with OEMs and project teams to align commissioning activities with project schedules.
• Develop and maintain integrated testing and commissioning schedules (P6) updated weekly.
