Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager, Pursuits in Los Angeles to lead all levels of proposal and pursuit activity in collaboration with regional operations and the BD team. You will steward the Pursuits Process, develop capture plans for major opportunities, and ensure high-quality, compliant submissions.

Responsibilities include coordinating client research, preparing collateral and SOQs, creating compelling presentations, and keeping systems up-to-date to support the sales

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field.
• Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the annual business planning process with operations/technical and BD teams.
• Participates in regular pipeline meetings and develops capture plans for major pursuits.
• Assists in conducting client research, as needed.
• Manages the proposal process for all levels of submittals, leads kickoff and update meetings, edits proposal sections, ensures quality and compliance.
• Prepares customized collateral and SOQs for opportunities.
• Works with teams to prepare client presentations including decks, coaching, and graphics.
• Helps collect and file up-to-date information in marketing systems.
• Attendance at work during normal business hours.
