Job summary

Consertus is seeking an Associate Pursuit Manager to independently manage moderate-complexity pursuits and contribute substantive content end-to-end. You will own content development, pursuit schedules, and CRM rigor to support successful pursuit execution, guiding Pursuit Coordinators and collaborating with senior staff on strategic opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or Business preferred.
• 3–5 years of proposal management or business development experience within AEC, professional services, or capital program environments.
• Experience contributing to RFQ/RFP responses through submission.
• Strong writing and editing skills with ability to adapt messaging to client expectations.
• Experience maintaining opportunity data in Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
• Familiarity with Flowcase or comparable capabilities management platforms.
• APMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned pursuits of moderate complexity from kickoff through submission.
• Contribute pursuit-specific inputs to go/no-go evaluations, including compliance assessment, schedule feasibility, and resource considerations.
• Develop and write substantive proposal content, including qualifications, project narratives, executive summary inputs, and resumes, with guidance from senior staff.
• Establish and manage pursuit schedules, coordinating internal contributors and subconsultants; conduct compliance reviews for RFQ/RFP adherence.
• Maintain Salesforce opportunity records for assigned pursuits, including revenue values and stage progression.
• Ensure resumes and project sheets sourced from Flowcase are current and aligned with pursuit messaging.
• Develop content and materials for client presentations and interviews; support interview preparation including coaching and slide development.
