Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Pursuit Specialist to drive strategic business development by shaping persuasive proposals and communications that showcase the firm’s expertise and differentiators.

The role partners with project managers and leadership to align materials with brand standards and market needs. You will help advance the firm’s reputation, support client development initiatives, and strengthen presence across priority markets and sectors, ensuring timely delivery

Qualifications

• Experience assisting with RFPs/RFQs including coordinating inputs, formatting, editing, and quality control.
• Experience translating technical information into clear client-focused messaging.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong design sensibility with compelling digital and print layouts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign; web platforms an asset.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a regional, dispersed team.
• Confident communicating with individuals across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support proposal writing, coordination, strategy, and development for a wide range of services.
• Prepare thoughtful, engaging, and visually compelling proposals, qualifications, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with technical staff to translate complex information into clear messaging.
• Coordinate with business development leadership for pursuit planning and competitive positioning.
• Participate in client development and account management efforts.
• Support storytelling initiatives to elevate brand reputation and align with key accounts and trends.
• Maintain and update internal systems related to people, project experience, and pursuit information.
• Ensure all materials are consistent with brand standards, quality, and deadlines.
