Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Pursuit Specialist to support strategic business development by crafting high-impact proposals and communications that showcase our technical expertise and creative approach. Qualifications

• Experience assisting with the preparation of RFPs and RFQs, including coordinating inputs, formatting, editing, and quality control.
• Exposure to collaborating with technical professionals to gather project information and translate technical content into client-focused messaging.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong design sensibility with an eye for compelling digital and print layouts.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign; experience with web-based platforms is an asset.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a regional, geographically dispersed team.

• Prepare thoughtful, engaging, and visually compelling proposals, qualifications, and promotional materials.

• Participate in client development and account management efforts, including positioning and pursuit planning.

• Maintain and update internal systems related to people, project experience, and pursuit information.
• Ensure all materials are consistent with brand standards, quality expectations, and deadlines.

The Pursuit Specialist supports strategic business development efforts across the business operating unit by developing high-impact proposals and communications that highlight the firm's technical expertise, experience, and creative approach. The role works closely with technical project managers, pursuit teams, and business development leadership to shape compelling pursuit strategies and materials that clearly articulate organizational strengths and differentiate the firm in competitive markets, while maintaining alignment with brand standards and positioning.

• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong design sensibility with an eye for compelling digital and print layouts.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign; experience with web-based platforms is an asset.

• Comfortable working with a wide range of personality styles and management levels.
• Confident communicating with individuals across all levels of the organization.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Pay Transparency:In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
