Job summary

SWCA is seeking a Pursuit Graphic Designer to transform complex information into clear, persuasive visuals for proposals and client presentations. You’ll work across water resources, energy, habitat restoration, and cultural resources with a national team of proposal professionals.

The role offers flexible work options (remote/hybrid) and reports to the Creative Services Manager. A bachelor’s or equivalent experience with at least 3 years in graphic design is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field.
• Three (3) years of graphic design experience, preferably with at least two years of experience designing proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, or other business development materials in an in-house corporate creative department or design firm with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects.
• Ability to collaborate with pursuit teams and technical experts to solve complex communication challenges.
• Experience designing and producing long-form documents in InDesign.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, including advanced presentation design.
• Familiarity with print production and digital publishing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design processes or projects from conception to completion, including campaigns and multimedia projects.
• Analyze business challenges and translate them into creative visual solutions.
• Create compelling visual content to support marketing objectives and proposals.
• Collaborate with leadership to guide strategic visual storytelling within the graphic design domain.
• Coordinate and manage project schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain high quality by reviewing graphics for clarity and compliance with requirements.
