Job summary

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, NV seeks a capable Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the Purple Parrot dining room. You will lead servers, bussers, and hosts, ensure outstanding guest service, and maintain smooth daily operations in a full-service setting.

Qualifications include 2+ years in a supervisory restaurant role, strong leadership, customer service, and knowledge of POS, inventory, and food safety. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train Purple Parrot staff, including servers, bussers, and hosts, ensuring adherence to service standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring timely and accurate service.
  • Manage daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory control, and workstation assignments.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Assist with scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions for Purple Parrot staff.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any food quality or preparation issues.
  • Monitor and control inventory of supplies, communicating needs to management as required.
  • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Operate point-of-sale system, process payments, and reconcile daily transactions.
  • Act as a leader and role model for staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Job Summary
