Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada is seeking a prep cook to support the kitchen with ingredient prep, side dishes, and sauces for restaurant shifts. The role requires calm under pressure, efficiency, and a commitment to culinary excellence.

You will read recipes, prep items, maintain station cleanliness, and assist in setting up the line while following health and safety regulations. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits and growth opportunities.

Come join Team Atlantis! The prep cook is responsible for meal prep duties including the preparation of ingredients, side dishes and sauces for each restaurant shift. The ideal candidate for this position works well under pressure and is dedicated to excellence.

Other duties as assigned my management. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy pots, pans, and trays.
• Comfortable working in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment.

Must adhere to all appearance standards, including but not limited to no "visible" tattoos/piercings or unnatural hair colors.
