Job summary
Iambic Therapeutics, based in San Diego, seeks an experienced Research Scientist to drive purification and analytical sciences for small-molecule discovery. You will lead SFC/LC purification method development, optimize separations, and support high-throughput QC campaigns to deliver purified compounds and robust analytical data.

Qualifications
- PhD or MS with substantial experience in small-molecule chromatography purification and method development.
- Experience in preparative SFC with method development, optimization and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of chromatographic separation science and high-throughput QC workflows.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute small-molecule purification strategies using preparative SFC and LC.
- Optimize stationary/mobile phases, gradients, and scale‑up for challenging separations.
- Support high-throughput QC workflows using LC/MS to assess identity, purity and sample quality.
- Collaborate with medicinal chemistry and HTE teams to deliver purified, well-characterized compounds.
- Provide hands-on support for SFC, LC, and LC/MS platforms, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
